The odd proportions of the 1 actually work in the convertible. It doesnt look as top heavy, and top up or down it looks more sleek and svelte. Now if they would only fix those bug eyes.

a nice 128i Convertible with premium, sport, heated seats, automatic is around $40.5k. Dop the sport package and you're under $40k for a very nice car. Not only is that about $9k less than a similarly equipped 328i Convertible but it's less than what the previous generation 325Ci Convertible ran, despite the fact that a 128i is actually more like a 330Cic from back then (which typically had an MSRP around $50k) and it has features that those never did (dual zone climate, MP3 hookup, etc.).

Mission accomplished BMW.

The 128i Convertible is nice but I would rather have the 128i Coupe.
