Photo Rendering: BMW iSetta minicar

It has been reported that big shots at BMW have given the Isetta city car project the green light in an effort to reduce the average CO2 outputs from its vehicles to meet new EU targets. I was in high school in the late '50s in Houston, TX and a guy I knew had a white Isetta (you enter in the front with the swing-out front door, and the steering wheel and column tilted out with the door). I bet myself that the guy would be killed in a collision before he finished high school.
As it turned out, he lived and is now a successful lawyer there.
