Facebook helps police find stolen VW

Social networking site, and basically the means of communication for every college student, has helped police find a stolen car. Following a theft of a Volkswagen Beetle in Shrebury in March, police had urged Facebook users to keep a look out for the car.

After an appeal was placed on Facebook, through groups and Facebook flyer adds, a woman had told officers she had seen the Beetle in a Telford car park.

Did anyone hear about the guy who had a Skyline stolen, posted it on a forum. Then it was spotted by a few kids, on kid even got a very very clear picture on his camera of the passenger. Not even 48 hours later the car was recovered by police.

The internet is a great source, that's for sure.

The GTI has much more cachet and history than any Lexus. Name a vehicle Lexus makes that has as fervent a following? Even the air-cooled VWs are more revered by their fans. When Lexus learns to deliver a vehicle that makes driving fun, holla back.

they would buy a vw because of build quality, ride and general looks. compare a vw and a lexus at similar prices and there's no comparison!
