Oldsmobile most popular dead car brand

Four years after being discontinued the Oldsmobile name still carries some cachet as evidenced by a new survey, which quizzed respondents on the brands they most wanted to see revived. Oldsmobile ending up beating a number of other deceased car brands to take out sixth place overall in the results.

Other American car brands Studebaker and Plymouth also made the list, taking out the 11th and 14th spots respectively.

Umm, that list is slightly off for discontinued names.

IBM...still around and in the business of development and business solutions.

Atari...still kicking making games for new systems as well as their revived old 2600.

Compaq...last I knew they still made computers

Polaroid...alive and now making not just digital cameras, but also LCD televisions.

I miss my Intrigue ('01 GLS, Inidgo Blue, fully loaded)... if it just wasn't for all of the damn little electrical glitches.

Don't forget the Oldsmobile Aurora. For a time the only modern RWD V8 sedan in GMs stable.
