Spy Video: Cadillac CTC Coupe caught at Milford Proving Grounds

It’s been confirmed numerous times before that the Cadillac CT Coupe Concept we saw at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show will go into production in 2009. The folks over at InsideLine have now caught the production test mule testing at Milford Proving Grounds and have posted the video on YouTube.

We’re told that the production CT Coupe (may be known as the Cadillac CTC when it hits the dealerships) won’t be too far off from what we saw at Detroit. However it will be toned down a bit to meet production standards. GM says that the CT Coupe concept was designed to accommodate a range of engines including Cadillac’s popular 3.6L Direct Injection V6 and the new 2.9L turbo-diesel currently in developmental phase.

We’re just waiting to see the rumored CTS-V Coupe hit up the track.

Sounds like some formidable competition for the R8.

?

This will be a CTS coupe. An A5/S5/RS5 competitor. Half the price of an R8.

A 2.9L Turbocharged Diesel? That would be friekin awsome although they should have it available in a lot of the GM cars already. We want it now!!!!
The Caddys are kicking ass I just hope they continuse with the advanced thinking and do not let up on the compitition. They need to crush the BMW's, Lexus and the other wanabe's.
