There were a lucky number of journalists who got a chance to confront the new GODZILLA firsthand this week at an event being held in a town called Incline Village Reno. Unfortunately we weren't at the event but we were so enthralled by a video taken by Exhaust Note, who attended the event, that we had to post it over here where we can't sleep without thinking about the new GT-R.

Just listen to the new Godzilla roaring its engine on the track, we imagine small children in nearby towns cried at the sounds coming from the engine bay of the Nissan GT-R. Its hard to believe that the twin turbo V6 engine was engineered by humans and not some super automotive engineering God. To be exact, the 3.8 liter produces 480 horsepower @ 6400 rpm, enough power to get the Nissan GT-R around the famed Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7:38 - this is a production automobile folks.

I guess you would have to be a GT-R fanboy not to see the humor in this...oh well. It's a car...albeit a good car..."super automotive engineering God"...sorry...its not that good!
