Hennessey tuning the Lexus IS-F and GTR
Perhaps most famous - or infamous - for its even more over-the-top take on the already outrageous Dodge Viper, Hennessey Performance is considering expanding its collection of custom cars to include more foreign makes and top of its list at the moment is the new Lexus IS-F saloon and the Nissan GT-R super-coupe.

The Lexus will arrive first and is set of launch later this year.

Ya know, you're right. I've been caught up with being put off by the double stack exhaust layout. It's too boy toy street racer (which I think would have been fine if it was an option from Lexus instead of standard). A more mature look to the vehicle would give it a broader appeal. Besides, there's not enough mid 20's kids that could afford this on their salaries.

You guys haven't seen one in person. I'll admit, I used to think the IS F was too rice rocket looking, but I saw one in person and pictures don't give it justice. Believe me, it's not tacky looking in real life.

You're right, is350, in real life it isn't bad, but seeing the M3 sedan makes it look bad. What a beautiful 3er.

I don't think the M3 makes it look bad. It's different styling techniques. BMW uses distinct European styling and Lexus has a Japanese look. Both, in my opinion, look good, but I wouldn't really say one is better than the other. Both have their strong and weak points.

Nothing like pitting stock cars against an aftermarket modified one. If you're going to play that way, let's look at Braubus, Renntek and the others, shall we?

That's the typical Japanese fan. I'll SOOP up my ride to beat the others. It's so easy to say that and do actually do it. Its like saying i'll soop up the GT-R and it can beat a Veyron.

Hennessey is a scam artist, with nothing but shoddy products and empty promises. I feel sorry for any sucker who buys one of these (and REALLY feel for anyone who hands over their keys to the guy)
