Mid-engine Corvette concept

The idea of a mid-engined Corvette is nothing new. In fact, Chevrolet has released a number of Corvette concepts over the years featuring a mid-engine layout and engineers are even toying with the idea for GM’s next-generation C7 model.

Ambitious young designer Ivan Luccion has now created his own design for a possible mid-engine Corvette and uses earth’s fastest land animal, the Cheetah, as inspiration for his latest work.

They should name it "cheat-ya" because that front bumper hangs so low as to ensure you will be cheated out of thousands of dollars for repairs every time it hits a bump on the road.

They should have made a 4 or 5 cylinder corvette !
i dont think it will go through production line because the design looks cartoonish.

Must be an Asian auto design student exercise; however, I do like the conservative styling offered by such Asian vehicles as the Subaru Forester and the coming KIA Borrego.

Vette will have a v8, and nothing else. Otherwise it isnt a vette.

They will kill it before dropping anything under a v8 unde the bonnet.

I think that is a tumor rising out of the mid-section of this concept. It should be cut out before it reaches production.
Why waste the reader's time with abominations such as this. Let the artist finish design school before his next attempt.

The Corvette should always have the same setup. Not having the same setup is like not having a Mercedes Badge on a Mercedes.

It’s just a bad design from a person who has no idea about the Vette heritage. All it is a concept drawing that will never make it off the paper. You are correct in saying that it looks like a cartoon. They should not let anybody draw any part of a vette unless they have driven every year that they can get there hands on and have studied the history in detail.
Cheetah? I don’t see it. Where are the spots?
