I like KIA's conservative styling for the 2009 Borrego which is on my shopping list. The GLK is also on my shopping list but I hope that North American models will not come from China.

It's just another part of the cycle with manufacturers feeling the need to make everything for everybody. After the GLK, Mercedes will match BMW with the 1-series counterpart, the TLK (aka tiny). Eventually profits will decline, shareholders will cry and management will re-invent the company by reducing the model proliferation in order to cut costs. In the meantime, the GLK will be timed perfectly for the $4.50 per gallon premium and the upcoming Democrat $10,0000.00 gas guzzler tax on <35 mpg. And as JC mentioned above, if does look sorta nice.
