BMW 6-series demand cooling off?

What a difference a year makes!

In less than a year the new 6-series has morphed from Cinderella to a toad!

Just a year ago, dealers were getting premiums and today most dealers have them in stock and are willing to negotiate. Aggressively!

Why aren't they selling?

1. The coupe is irrelevant- BORING! Besides, who the hell wants them (coupes)!

2. The convertible is cool (it's the only new design we like) but the current lease programs BLOW. Who the heck wants to spend $12-$1300 per month. The need a killer $699 coupe and $799 convertible lease. I'll take a convertible for that price!

3. They also may want to consider lowering the MSRP on the cars...The convertible is NOT an $80K car...It should sticker for the same price as the CLK500 cab and coupe. Maybe a small premium over because they are nicer and larger.

Autospies nailed it this time. The BMW 6 coupe is way overpriced - but then again so are the Lexus SC and the Cadillac XLR.

What vehicles are potentially underpriced? I nominate the Chrysler 300c, Toyota Avalon, Scion tC, Mercedes SLK and Infiniti M45.
