High-res 2010 Saturn Aura - Insignia official pics
Official images and details of Opel’s all-new Insignia sedan have finally been revealed and as predicted the car picks up a number of design cues from last year’s Opel GTC concept.

There’s a lot of significance riding on this model because this is the car that will be sold in the U.S. as the next-gen Saturn Aura and it may even make it to other markets where GM cars are sold such as Australasia and South America.

Wow, That is surely to be an amazing car, it won COTY when it first came out, so I would imagine it would win again with this design. Honda and Toyota are starting to fall behind in their styling departments thats for sure.

Now that is stepping up to the plate. If it looks like this it will be a home run.

Despite the naysaying of the Euros who posted after the story, this car is rather good-looking. It disturbs me the number of people, worldwide, who are utterly blind. No wonder traffic sucks everywhere.

Looks alright. However I do see a strong VW Passat infulence in it.

I am surprised how much i like it. I actually see a lot of Volvo S80 in it. Especially in rear, nose and headlights.

Wow, I think this car looks really nice. I've always liked Opels, but always wished they sold them here (as Opels, and not rebadged).

WOW. People will be having to decide whether they want a Ford Taurus or Saturn Aura or Chevy Malibu the most.

A Ford Taurus? I hope you are being sarcastic? I am sure you do not like any of them and picking one for you would be like picking what rotten apple you want but the Ford Torus can not even compare to the Malibu or Aura. The Malibu and Aura are very nice family cars with a touch of sporty design and engineering that GM has long needed and the sales of these are doing very good. The Taurus is a rebadged old car that is 5 or more years behind the times. It’s like comparing a BMW to Hyundai. Even though Autopsies does it all the time, in reality it can not and should not be done.

I like how no one noticed that the pics are of the Vauxhall version instead of the Opel (check the badge).

I'm more interested to know whether or not GM will offer any of the diesels here in the U.S. Saturn version.
