Nissan debuts new luxury sedan

Nissan used this weekend’s Beijing Motor Show to unveil the final production version of the all-new Teana luxury sedan after first previewing the car in concept form at last year’s Tokyo Motor Show.

The new Teana will replace the current model, which has been on sale since 2004, and will arrive on the market towards the end of the year.

The Teana is dominated by its swooping bodyline and is designed to seat up to five adults.

Actually, it looks very similar to the more competitively priced Hyundai Genesis which will dominate this market because the RWD Genesis is available with an efficient yet powerful V8 and LSD. Nissan scares me these days because too many of it's models are produced with the dreaded CVT.

Barge cars are more comfortable and give you a greater chance of survival if you get hit by a maniac teen driver in a tuner Civic for example.

God, when will they come up with their own idea's... This would be a great car for EL34... :-)

Unique ideas are rare today. The whole industry moves in unison in the same direction both in styling and mechanical innovation. There is even a new International truck on the horizon whose godzilla grille is a monster derivative of the Subaru Impreza grille.
