Which compact luxury SUV would you buy?

Now that the 2009 Audi Q5 and the 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK have made their debut at the Beijing Motor Show, we were wondering (assuming that you’re in the market for a compact SUV) which small off-roader you would consider buying given other choices including the Volvo XC60 and the BMW X3. Obviously you’ll be disregarding pricing in your decision as of right now since pricing for the first three will be announced closer to launch date.

Refresher:

2009 Audi Q5: U.S. will get a 3.2L V6 FSI direct-injection unit that will produces 265-hp and 243 lb-ft of torque. 0-60 will come in at 6.8 seconds.
2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK: Arriving in U.S. in January 2009 power will come from a 3.5L V6 engine that produces 268-hp, giving it the ability to do 0-60 in 6.5 seconds.
2009 Volvo XC60: North American market will get a 6-cylinder turbocharged T6 engine that produces 285-hp.
2008 BMW X3: Next-generation isn’t expected until late 2009/early 2010. Currently offered in a 3.2L 6-cylinder engine producing 260-hp. 0-60 comes in 6.9 seconds.

I'd skip this segment and just get an ML350. The gas mileage might be slightly, slightly worse but the cost of entry is only slightly more and the usable interior room is MUCH more.

Its amazing what a reasonably-optioned X3 will cost - I just priced one on BMW's website and its $48K.

Vehicles in this segment are really too small for regular family use in the USA. Perhaps in Europe or other parts of the world where road/parking space is more of a premium but these vehicles are really small.

The EX or Audi. Even after all the complaints that ppl cant fit into the EX. I have a G and the interior is the same size as my G. The truck is smaller than on my G but I can fit in the front and back seat if the front seat is pulled to a correct position for the avg male.

I would take the EX35 in that segment. It's just great inside and out. Sat in one, interior is not very tight but is slightly low/low seating positions (i know it's small luxury crossover but still a little bit higher would have been great example size of Edge or CX-7).
But everything else of EX35 is just great.

Q5 also looks good (headlights and grille could have been more stylish and curvy), but i think with S line package it would be fine. Rear end is very beautiful and a nice interior. So Q5 would be the best of the rest.

Down with the euro junks,non reliable vehicles,i'll takethe Acura RDX for fun and reliability or the Honda CRV for fuel economy and relability

I agree with wanga, I would personally probably take the Honda CRV.

The X3 is overpriced for a car with its engine size, features and overall value.

I think, even though, yes, it is at the end of its life cycle, the current RX 350 is the best option.
