Wow a $60,000 Dodge (minus the viper). This was a great marketing strategy for Chrysler. Releasing the high powered one first in limited quantity to build the hype and desire. Way to go Dodge.

why pay this premium when the 5.7L Hemi will probably output 375HP in 2009, plus a manual tranny should be available by then? furthermore, there's talk of a 6.6L SRT8 Hemi on the horizon.

It's definitely the hype that's getting to people. Rational thinking would suggest to wait. But some must be the first in the neighbor and other just are so passionate about it that they can't wait. Can't fault them we're all like that about cars. Why else would we spend the workday commenting on cars lol.

It is silly to pay a premium for this car. By the years end they will be sitting on lots waiting for a buyer.

Yep, the hype for this car is definitely there. I have no doubts that the cars on ebay will sell for a pretty penny. But man, the car is awesome and to have one of the first 6400 would be a very cool thing indeed.

i would never buy that boat of a car for 60,000$ !!
the interior is just like any other dodge/chrylser: dull, drab, spartan, etc. not even retro
