2009 Audi A3 USA launch details, still no 3-door for Americans
Earlier this morning we brought you details and the press release on the new 2009 Audi A3. Now Audi of USA has released their 2009 Audi A3 press release giving us all the details on the stateside launch scheduled for September 2008. We on the stateside will still not get the three-door variant.

Audi will offer the redesigned five-door 2009 A3 in the U.S. market with two different engine variants including a 2.0 TFSI 200-hp and a 3.2 quattro with 6-cylinders producing 250-hp. Unlike the Audi Q5, the 2009 Audi A3 will get the S tronic dual-clutch transmission with Audi magnetic ride. Also new for this year, Audi will offer quattro on the 2.0 TFSI variant which will be available exclusively with S tronic transmission.

nicerhomer....he said that because the Audi S3 is not coming to the U.S.

if u actually take the time to read the article (what this site is for) you would notice these things, but instead i think your just here to read peoples comments :)

and yes i wish i could get an s3 too...........they sound nice :(

What's "ugly" about this car? You might not like it, but the car is by no means ugly.

Audi designs are awesome. Conservative, yet somehow distinctive and classy and dynamic at the same time. This car is certainly no different in terms of style.
