thats kinda ignorrant, because last time i checked there are also body on frame japanese and european suvs, as well as truck based. But i thought the commercial was funny

Well lets see the American SUVs dominate sales and towing capability. So in what way do they suck?

They get the job done in comfort and with confidence.

Perhaps if someone got of their high horse and tried one out they may come away impressed as many others have in the past.

I wouldn't really say the Defender is an SUV, it's an agricultural vehicle. Since the SUV was only invented with the Range Rover, it implies that some form of luxury is needed to be an SUV, which the Defender does not have,

Last time I checked, some people actually want their SUV to be a truck and not a car. I'd like to see the X3 pull a boat. If I want a good handling BMW with some cargo area, I'd buy a 328xi wagon.

More like BMW isn't a dressed up chevy tahoe or BMW isn't a dressed up expedition. or BMW sin't a dressed up dodge durango. ETC. I can't see why people pay so much for a re-badged tahoe or avalance. go buy a tahoe buy the instrument cluster and front end from an escalade save money. well, you can't get the Sclades engine in a tahow, but a vortech supercharger would help even things out. What a waste save money and get a fully loaded tahow or better yet a yukon denali, although the headlights are ugly.
