Video: Behind the scenes of Iron Man’s Audi Q7 and R8 stunts

If you’re big movie-buffs like us here, you’re probably looking forward to this Friday when the Iron man movie hits theaters. Also, if you’re crazy about cars like us, you’re probably looking forward to seeing Ironman’s Audi R8 in action.

Check out these two new behind the scene videos of the Audi R8 and Audi Q7 stunts that you’ll see in the movie on May 2nd.

Director Jon Favreau and his stunt team tell how much of a pain in the arse it was to work with the R8 and the Q7 due to the quality of the engineering and design that went into the cars.

A bid more of an advertisement than a behind the scenes. Glad to see Audi getting the product out in the public eye more, even thought the US isn't it's strogest market. Keep up the good work...

Stunt? More of a marketing stunt than anything else.

I happened to see the prescreening today and boy is this movie a huge Audi commercial. The R8 was driven very poorly and the Q7 braking scene is a blatantly shameless plug. The movie has an extremely predictable storyline and pretty poor acting from the supporting characters. At least the special effects are decent. Go watch it if typical Hollywood stuff is to your likings.

I know a lot of expensive cars get sacrificed in movies, but it's sad to see several R8's laid waste in this movie.
