You seem to be taking this very personally. If you like the rendering so much, and appreciate that the artist is no amateur, then why are you ripping it to bits with your 'LOLOL's'?

Last time I checked, despite the rendering, the sun will still rise in the morning and BMW will still be around.

whoever posted this to their website was just looking for attention which they got. the write up on it on the site is a complete joke, first it says it is caught in spain then it goes on to say "we don’t know any more details at this point other then it was created by H0SS Forero" : hence its a photoshop, an interesting one at that. a protype I think not?

If BMW made a car that looked like that to compete against the R8 (which was in Iron Man and totally an awesome car), then it would be a looker.

I cannot believe that Autoblog took this picture seriously. It was even pointed out to them that the wheels are straight from the Mazda Kabura concept. Look for yourself

If you really look at it, it isn't even that good of a photoshop:

The headlights have no depth, it is missing the driver-side headlight, which you should be able to see the very top of. So, the car as it is illustrated isn't symmetrical.

The panel gaps are the same width- so if the car were real, it means that the panel gaps would be getting larger away from the photographer. The little line of light along the front panel gap was taken without respect to the primary lighting of the car in certain places.

There is some strange bright red thing next to the headlight, which is way to vivid to be a reflection in white paint. It has been dulled down in this image the original is highly vivid. In addition, the little red thing at the lower part of the door is shaded wrong.

Last, but not least the rear window is just really screwed up- it is like the person just gave up.

this also appears to be a source of the photoshop- looks like it has some Alpha in the front end as well. It is pretty sad how some online auto sites are even taking this picture serious- are these people blind?

Hahhah what a clear rip-off of Audi's R8. Can you make the headlights any more obvious that they come from Audi's R8.

Don't worry by the time the M1 comes out Audi will be ready to spank it with the R8 V10 Twin Turbo producing 572 horsepower and 0-200 km/hr in 8.4 seconds!

I dont know what you're smoking, but the headlights on this photoshop dont even look close to those on the R8.
