Leaked: Nissan 370 Z shows up
Dubbed the „370 Z”, the succesor of the current „350 Z” has finally showed up! According to our sources the new vehicle will feature the same engine mounted on the current Nissan GT-R but which will develop 333 hp at 7000 rpm and a maximum torque of 363 Nm/ 5200 rpm. The new engine capacity is suggested by the name „370 Z” due to the fact that the old „350 Z” featured a 3.5 liter engine. Looking at the body of the car we might say that the dimensions are the same, only the front design is changed due to the stylish headlights. For the moment these are the only informations available, but stay tuned, more will come!

Guess the pic from R&T was accurate. Still wanna see the grill and see how goof/bad the "fangs" will look.

It's gonna have the G37 engine, not the GT-R.

The engine in the GT-R is a 3.8 litre engine so it would be a 380Z if it was using the same engine as the GT-R.

Wow, very unique design. I think I like the window line. Makes it looks more like a hatch.

That window line is right from the 240Z and it looks like Nissan is going further in that design direction with this Z. That's a good thing since the 240 was a classic design.

I was actually thinking along the same lines. That they are taking their design cues from the older Datsun 200 series.

Which by the way if you want to take a design cue from any older Japanese cars...those rank up their as probably some of the best.

Less S30 Z and more GT-R in that design. It is obvious that Nissan wants people to connect the GT-R and the 370Z so people feel like they have something that looks like the GT-R for a 350Z price. Nissan is really playing off the GT-R. You can see it in the 09 Maxima and now the 370Z. I also see signs of it in the FX35/37/50.

sorry forgot to say I really like it. I know I am probably the only one, but I still love my S130 the best.

It wont even outperform a 335

with 330+ hp and 500 lbs less weight it will definitely out perform the 335

so far i have liked every Z, so i wont judge yet. but i hope they dont blow this.

i think nissan can make a nice little come back riding the wave created by the GT-r with the new Max and a nice Z.

alot of you hate on nissan/infniti, but they make great cars for people with a budget.

Interesting redesign. I see some GT-R (and call me crazy, Zagato Aston Martin) influences in this picture; while still retaining the "essence' of the 350Z (as Nissan is doing with most of their redesign). Looking forward to the ovearll design of the 370Z. Looks to have a lot of potential in the $30K sports car arena. Hopefully, they dressed the interior to kill also.

It looks good. Those lines remind me of the old Datsun. No complaints here.

I like the rims. The rear 1/4 looks very much Porsche.

I agree that the rear quarters look loie the fender flares of the porsche 911s. Not a bad looking car. I can only hope that the interior is more on par with its infiniti cousin and less rent a center!

i hope the car is more like this pic than the others i've seen. i agree with those who think this looks more 240Z-ish, which works for me. that was easily my favorite Z even though i do enjoy my 350.

I'm not liking that new design for the headlamps that Nissan is doing, with this and the Maxima. It looks a bit too much for me.
