Is This What The Latest M3 Facelift Will Look Like?

These photos confirm that the 2009/2010 Sedan should receive the same tail light facelift as the regular E90 3-series sedan and that next year's M3 sedan will receive at least one new color -- Space Gray (as offered currently on the coupe version only).

A photoshop (below) by a M3post member is perhaps a close approximation of what the redesigned tail lights will resemble on the facelifted M3 sedan.

Nothing changed up front, just new notched taillights in the rear and perhaps a refreshed interior.

This color (Space Gray) is new to M3 for 2009 though.

I hope that bulge in the hood means that the in-line 6 engine is finally vertical instead of mounted at a slant. Still no side moldings to protect against door dings.

All they have to do is remove the reverse light from the trunk lid and put it at the top of the outer part of the lamp. Then it would have the proper L shaped tail light with a white stripe at the top.
