Is THIS The Next BMW M3?

Is THIS The Next BMW M3?
Even if you love another brand besides BMW, you can't deny there is a aura and a mystique surrounding the 'M' brand.

And lately, it seems almost everything revolves around it and that is the marker for EVERY other company in the business.

Well, the photo you see is NOT the the next M3 but it is one of the prototype designs that was considered in the process of designing the current model.

If you love cars, you owe it to your self to see the WHOLE story behind the 'M' at BMW's new microsite.

We KNOW you're going to love these videos as it brings you on the inside for the first time to hear straight from the source what goes into creating these amazing machines.

Think of it as our 2008 Memorial Day present to you!

It's not too early. All car companies begin R&D work on the next version the second they ship the current one. It takes 3-4 years to develop a car and develop it correctly.

WOW 001 Did a pro BMW article? NOOOOOO This site should be called autospiesBMWfansite dot com

with all the trans isues they have had and the 3 extra years it took to come out with the current M3 maybe they need to work on the new model.

Maybe they can find a way to make the car even cheeper and more plastic

Silver1,

You'll never agree or acknowledge my screen-name. So why even bother questioning it?

If anyone read the article you'll notice it stated that these were merely design proposals for the current M3.

I can surely deny the mysterious aura the spies and fanboys put around the M brand. They're good, but they're not the be-all end-all. I saw a new M3 sedan Wednesday...nice, but it sure wouldn't get my $$$ as it looked pretty much like a modded version of the other three 3-series I saw in the same 1/4 mile of highway (no exaggeration).

The design is getting old, the interior is boring and has some pretty cheap parts, the leather is nothing to write home about, and they get outperformed by other brands...I just don't see the same aura that y'all do, sorry.

Yeah that was typical, I had a friend that bought a 330i and like two or three months later the 335i was up for sale and this isn't the first time I have seen them do this......

is it just me or does the m3 in the beginning of the facilities video have the m5/6's V10 in the engine bay?
