Aston Martin V8 Vantage gets more power, better fuel-economy for 2009
Aston Martin’s V8 Vantage, one of the most beautiful cars in the world, has received some technical enhancements, leaving along its award-winning shape. Both the Coupe and Roadster get a larger 4.7 liter unit replacing the 4.3 liter. Other upgrades include improved Sportshift transmission software and a new sports suspension option.

The new 4.7 liter V8 produces 420-hp (an 11% increase) and a peak torque of 347 lb-ft (an increase of 15 percent). 0-60 comes in at 4.7 seconds while top speed is limited to 180mph. Even with the slight power increase the new Aston Marin V8 Vantage improves its fuel-economy and CO2 emissions by 13 percent.

They should've bring the Aston Martin V8 Vantage to 480 hp instead. And then up the DB9 to 550 to 570 hp, and give the up and coming Rapide to 600 + hp.

stop being such an idiot, do you want your Aston Martin V8 Vantage to be outrun by a Jaguar XK-R? Maybe you, but not me, 400 hp is NOT what it use to be, so stop living in the past.
