It's a twin trubo V8.

This motor in question is not a twin turbo, its not a v10 or a v12 nor is it a turbine. Its simply a M3 with its beautiful standard V8. Maybe if you look close enough you can see aliens.

If it is indeed a V10 then it's just a Shoehorn job. They do this all the time. No big deal and it doesn't have anything to do with actual production plans.

However, there's no need for a V10 M3. Does that mean the M5 and M6 should go V12? Not practical and not suited for a car of this grade. V8 is more than enough. Even for the most hardcore of drivers.
