Highly Camo'd X6 Driving in BevHills

After stopping by my favorite sales guy, Caleb at Beverly Hills BMW, ironically a highly camouflaged black X6 was driving by on Wilshire. I caught a few shots from the inside of my car. Interesting to note that this unit wasn't wearing the typical BMW SUV/SAV/SAC horizontal rear lights, but circular Infiniti M45-esque lights.

What could this be? M-ified?

It's most likely a test mule for the 5.0 X6 that will have the V8 turbo.

Hybrid is also confirmed, will be in X6 first- that's not a rumor.

This is very odd to be camo'd when they are already for sale- can't think of a single reason why to do this. It does have the xDrive50i exhaust tips though & the rear bumper looks a little different, not too sure.

I saw a white color X6 ActiveHybrid over that Switzerland about half month ago. But, at the time, I didn't have time to take a shoot. I hope this is a hybrid mule. I been waiting for a BMW hybrid for ... too long.

Maybe it's an M version. I don't know why else they would camo it. It's already on sale.

Yeah, the test mule is still running around Santa Barbara, Saw a heavily body claded 1 series convertable followed by a production 3 series then a X6 w/cladding on Garden street yesterday...
