Video: Honda’s LIVE TV commercial
Honda yesterday aired its live TV commercial yesterday in the UK in real-time with no special effects. The commercial demonstrates the ‘Difficult is Worth Doing’ philosophy of Honda’s marketing campaign for its new European Accord.

The live ad took place in Spain with a team of 19 skydivers who successfully spelled the letters H-O-N-D-A within in the live three minute limit that Honda paid for.

The campaign will continue this Sunday when the main commercial called ‘Jump’ makes its debut. ‘Jump’ was filmed in Mojave Desert, California and features a very large team of skydivers forming shapes in the sky that hint at the new technologies on the new Euro Accord. We’ll bring you that commercial after it airs on June 1st.

That's pretty cool. Honda Europe seems to have pretty good commercials. A few years back they had they "isn't it good when everything just works" commerical, which was really cool too.

@ 5agarwals,

Sad if it's true (could you post the web link?).

I just think it's odd that Honda would film a "live" commercial in the U.S. for a car that's only sold in Europe (claiming the Acura TSX is enough is not the same).
