Chevrolet Malibu recognized as highest-quality midsize sedan
While the GM name may be currently surrounded by negative headlines, the General has something to be happy about with the latest J.D. Power Initial Quality Survey. Its hottest-selling Chevrolet Malibu was recognized as the highest-quality midsize sedan on the market.

Cadillac and Chevrolet both moved up into the Top 10 among all brands. Pontiac and Buick also moved into the upper half of the industry. All four brands beat other highly-regarded brands including Acura, BMW, Nissan, Scion, VW...

GM makes the the top-ranked car brand in the JD Power Long-term Dependability Study. (For the last three years.) On average, every new Honda and Toyota has at least one problem like most other brands. Those who claim they are perfect are not honest. Toyota had to recall over 2 million vehicles due to BAD ENGINES which failed as early as 30,000 miles. Toyota at first refused to honor the warranties on the bad engines. Look it up, it's true.

Great Job GM! I will say that I am very happy with my 2006 Malibu! I average 28.7 mpg city/hwy! Wow! And this is with a very strong V6! It runs like a bat out of hell! My goal was to buy an American car, built by an American company that was built in America by Americans, with mostly American parts including engine and transmission to name a few. What a concept! I will wait for the next Malibu with the plug in hybrid option and or hydrogen option, which ever is best at the time! Type356-1.com

Looks like GM reached its goal to out-Toyota Toyota with the new Malibu. Now it has the quality, performance and value of the Camry (but probably not the resale value--yet).

Kudos to GM.

As said before, a great car for those who are tired of Camry/Accord. It offers more styling and better value. Saw one on the highway in white the other day, that low sculpted nose is killer.

I don't really like the Malibu all that much. A car has to look as good going as it does coming and it seems to me that GM spent more time designing the front and then using a bow-wow rear. And the interior doesn't look like that of a car. Maybe more of a crossover SUV.

This car sucks - it comes highly designed from the factory - no room for upgrades/power. Get a Camry in manual w/ coilovers w/ a mean camber, 20's, shorthrow kit, RMM lip kit, blutooth, nav, HKS exhaust. Malibu, please.

gee that's too bad that there is no room for a fart can or a grapefruit launcher for a muffler. Four cylinder cars should be seen and not heard

ALL YOU F***IN JAP CAR LOVER IF THEY CAN DO NO WRONG WHY MAY I ASK DO YOU NOT MOVE TO JAPAN????? ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU CAN NOT EVEN GIVE CREDIT TO A AMERICAN AUTO MAKER INSTEAD YOU CALL NAMES AND MAKE FUN. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SO LUCKY TO LIVE IN THIS COUNTRY.

HELL YOU MAY NOT LIKE IT AND THAT IS YOUR CHOICE BUT WHY DO YOU HAVE TO DOWN GRADE IT???? ATLEAST KEEP YOUR OPINION TO YOURSELF AND YOU WOULD BE SOME WHAT SUPPORTING THE COUNTRY, THAT IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD AND YOU WHERE SO LUCKY TO HAVE BEEN BORN IN.

GREAT JOB GM
AS AMERICANS WE NEED TO STAND TOGETHER, MORE NOW THAN EVER BEFORE BEHIND AMERICAN COMPANY'S.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET A SMALL ECONOMIC CAR WHY NOW LOOK AT, GM IS COMING OUT WITH HYBRYD'S THIS FALL JUST WAIT UNTIL THEN AND I EVEN THINK THEY MAY HAVE A FEW MODELS OUT NOW JUST CHECK OUT THIS WEBSITE http://www.chevrolet.com/fuelsolutions/

GREAT JOB LETS SUPPORT AMERICAN MANUFACTURESSO WE DO NOT SEE MORE OF THIS,
IF WE KEEP SEEING LAY OFFS WHAT DOES THAT MEAN, TO YOUR JOBS WELL THEY COULD BE ON THE CHOPPING BLOCK, PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY TIGHTEN THIER BELTS AND ARE NOT SPENDING MONEY IF WE SEE MORE AND MORE LAYOFFS WE ARE GOING TO KEEP SEEING LESS SPENDING. IF WE SEE HONDA SALES GO UP AND OUR AUTO MAKERS SALES GO DOWN WE ARE IN TROUBLE.
BANKS ARE LAYING OFF THE WORK FORCE,
CONSTUCTION WORKERS HAVE HAD LAY OFFS BECAUSE OF REAL ESTATE GOING DOWN,
THE AMERICAN AUTO MANUFACTURES ARE LAYING OFF OUR WORK FORCE,
AND SINCE GAS PRICES BEING SO HIGH, JUST WATCH AND NEXT YOU WILL SEE LAY OFF'S WITH THE AIRLINES AND TRAVEL INDUSTRY.

WE MUST SUPPORT OUR COUNTRY AT LEAST TRY!! AND LOOK AT AMERICAN CARS 1ST!!!! LOOK AT THE SATURN'S, CHEVEY'S, FORDS, AND DODGES. WE ARE MAKING A CAR THAT IS AS OR MORE RELIEABLE AS THE IMPORTS.

INFACT A FRIEND OF MINE HAS A HONDA WHICH HE WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER HONDA AGAIN!!!!!! HIS WIFE HAS A OLDSMOBILE ALERO WHICH HAS NOT HAD ONE PROBLEM EXCEPT FOR THE BATTEREY AND 2 SETS OF BRAKE PADS, HIS HONDA ACCORD IS A YEAR NEWER THE THE OLDSMOBILE AND HE HAS HAD TO PUT 4 SETS OF BRAKE PADS, STRUTS, PLUS OTHER MAINTENCE ISSUES WITH THE HONDA, THE HONDA'S A/C JUST WENT OUT AND SO THE HONDA NOW NEEDS THE COMPRESSOR REPLACED THE HONDA SERVICE DEPT QUOTED HIM 1600. PLUS WHILE HE HAD THE HONDA IN THE SHOP HE ASKED THEM TO CHECK THE BRAKES SINCE THE BRAKES ARE VIBRATING AND SQEEKING THEY TOLD HIM HE NOW NEEDS NEW BARKE ROTORS AND PADS AGAIN SO HIS SHOP BILL IS GOING TO BE ALMOST 2100.00 WHICH HE JUST SPENT ON THE HONDA 800.00 BECAUSE THE ALTERNATOR WENT OUT LAST WEEK, HIS WIFES OLDSMOBILE HAS 127,000 MILES ON IT AND HIS HONDA ACCORD HAS 122,000 MILES. SO WHICH CAR IS MORE REALIABLE THE AMERICAN CAR IS!!!!

I KNOW THAT IF YOU LOOK 1ST AT AMERICAN AUTOS YOU WILL FIND SOME GREAT AMERICAN CARS, YOU WILL ALSO BE SUPPORTING YOUR COUNTY'S ECONOMICS AND YOU WILL BE HELPING YOUR ECONOMICS AS WELL.

I KNOW THAT IF WE DO NOT START NOW, EVERYONE IN THIS COUNTRY IS AT RISK FOR TOUGHER ECONOMIC TIMES. I NEED TO VOICE THIS TO YOU ALL. I KNOW THIS IS NOT SO POSITIVE, HOWEVER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY SUPPORTING OUR COUNTRY'S COMPANYS 1ST.

IT COMES DOWN TO EACH ONE OF US MAKEING A DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!!
JUST LOOK AT AMERICAN PRODUCTS 1ST FOR YOUR SELF AND FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AGAIN GREAT JOB GM!!!! I LOVE MY CADILLAC CTS AS ANOTHER GREAT PRODUCT THAT HAS COME OUT THIS YEAR!!!

GO AMERICA
