Now THIS Is What The Dodge Charger Should Look Like!
Our friend from Austria Michael Leonhard sent us this exclusive pic of how he envisions the 2010 Dodge Charger R/T in Auto Spies black.

Also, here it is in the other colors that have been floating around the net.

Here is his description o fthe car:

"The Dodge Charger is a muscle car legend. If you hear Charger your first imagination are the second generation models from 1968-1970. And that was my starting point to rebirth/redesign the legendary Dodge Charger for 2010. A powerful and a thoroughgoing looking Coupe like back in the days. Using the design characteristics and styling cues from the original but freshened up to incorporate todays styling and design standards.

Generally I think, besides creating a balanced and good design, giving a car an highly emotional touch is crucial. A object that awakes desire, a thing that carries the power of dreams. It's not just the design regarding rules and principles in theory to make it right, it's also the emotion, passion, heart and soul you put into it. This cannot be learned from books or in theory this must come from the designer himself."

BTW can someone tell me how to update my AgentSpace website? ITs not very clear, and there are no indications anywhere how too.

Someone out there had too much fun today adjusting the colors on car photographs. That being said, someone also wasted a lot of time posting this here. and I lastly for clicking on the article.

I think the Charger R/T proposal is awesome looking, Dodge should take a good hard look at incorporating some of these design ideas.

If they start now, they could potentially beat the Camaro to the market!!!

I wouldn't think it to be too hard to do considering the Charger already uses the same platform. That's pretty much what was done on the old school Challenger and Charger.

It already has beat the camaro in the market. The Challenger blows the camaro in the weeds. Just like in the old days. Camaro is just another pile of chevy.

if they were to adopt the design cues, take into account the 90% water down that Chrysler is famous for and this would look like crap in no time.

i like the rendering though.

The Charger is the least of their worries--it's actually a great-looking car with decent driving dynamics; like every other Chrysler product, its interior is garbage. However, there are so many other cars in the Chrysler Group that don't look good, don't drive well and are simply pieces of crap.

Yeah like the 1969 plymouth valiant that blew away all the european cars at the one lap of america. The viper dominated so much that SCCA had to factor the crap out of them. I could go on and on. Its comments like this that come from emotion not fact

This is actually what the Charger shouldn't look like...So thank god that it doesn't!
