Mitsubishi Motors unveils Lancer Sportback at Paris Motor Show

Better known as Galant Fortis in Japan Mitsubishi Galant - Fortis - Lancer: Test Drive, the new Lancer Sportback in in fact an 5 door “hatchback” version of our Japanese Sedan.
While many of us tends to prefer the Lancer/Galant design rather then the new Hatchback one from its rival the Subaru Impreza, the Lancer Sportback is actually more elegant in this new design than in its usual sedan one.

Build for the European market, and launched for the Paris Motor Show, our Lancer, will be available in a Ralliart and SportBack Ralliart version powered by a 2l 4 cylinder DOHC MIVEC engine which develop 240PS and a torque of 343Nm, and in a a regular Sportback model which will receive a selection of gasoline engine (1.5l - 109PS and 1.8l - 143PS) as well as a Turbo diesel one (2l - 140PS).
