Is You Favorite Car A Star On The Big Screen?

Ever seen your new found "favorite" movie star on the big screen, or better yet that cute supporting actress in the background, and wanted to know more about them?  Of course most of us know enough to go to www.imdb.org and get the lowdown on the star and their career. Seems simple enough you say.

But what if the star was a car?  Can you look up your favorite ride and see what movies it appeared in?  Of course you can! With the advent of the internet and some enterprising people with much more time on their hands than I have, you can do just that. 

Simply go to www.imcdb.org and search the make and model or your choice to see what TV shows and movies it appeared in. 

Did you know the Russian built Lada “Niva” was showcased in 46 different cinematic episodes?  Neither did I. However with a comprehensive database of almost 12,000 movies, documentaries and TV shows it pretty easy to see at least at one time your favorite ride was on the big screen.

In my opinion, the Nitrus Audi S8 in Ronin was the star of that movie.

Every car guy owns Ronin for all the wonderful car chases. Personally, I think the 450SEL 6.9 was what did it for me.

that merc was a tank. i loved how they beat on it.

I don't buy cars that are advertised in TV Commercials. TV commercials are for people that are indecisive.

But my car is in movies like Analyze This, Good Fellas and The Sopranos.

Hey guy....imcdb.org is "Internet Movie Car Data Base". It's all about the cars that are in the movies. Have you never watched a movie and been like, "what kind of car is that?". That's where that website comes into play. They list literally every single car in the movie, even if it was on the screen for only a brief second.

Some movies they'll miss some.

i seriously liked the way the audi r8 looked that tony stark drove in "iron man", and the s5 that his assistant pepper potts (gwyneth paltrow) drove wasn't too bad either!
