Is this new VW, V-Trouble-U?

Lets Face It. VW is in BIG BIG trouble.

*Phaeton. Need I Say More? $12,000 off at my local lot. They cant sell any of these cars. Too bloody expensive.

*Toureag. Very Very Bad Reliability. Sales have gotten terrible.

*Bug. Probably their lifesaver right now. Needs udate BADLY!!

*And now the Jetta/Golf/Passat tragedy.

The new styling of all 3 of these cars just plain sucks.

Not trying to be harsh, but the general public has spoken and EVERYONE thinks these cars are just Bad in overall design. The Audi grille doesnt work on the budget scale. The Jetta got unbelievably expensive. And what's up with the Corolla styling? And it is slow as hell to boot. And this is the base version?? How much will a midrange Jetta be in 2 years. $32,000, no thanks. Now the Passat. What happened?? It is now a mini Phaeton and lost all of its euro style. Maybe some will like it, but for 40 grand, I'll take a 330,A4,TL,G35 whatever. The options for Navigation,Active Cruise Control,Keyless,Xenon package is a whopping $9000 U.S. dollars. 40 grand for a Passat? I think not.

And finally the golf just doesnt look sporty or agressive enough. Way to toy-like. Just not enough.

In all, I think VW is majorly screwed

If you are not Japanese, tough luck living in japan. Minorites, including white caucasians are routinely discriminated against. You can be thrown out a luxury shop or Jewelry store just because you are black or hispanic or however 'suspicious' And you can't do jack about it. Corporate culture is very very nippo-centric. And it is one of the most sexist countries on earth. Just a couple of days ago, Japanese commuter rail companies decided to offer women their own rail car becaus eof the routine and daily abuse they suffer from males that goes unpunished. And check all the textbooks and see how they portray other nations, especially how they intepret their role in atrocities against neighbors. Go find out why the Chinese and Kroeans and Phillipinos and others still have no love lost for the Japanese.

And please don't bring crass talk about food to this. I'll take fish and chips everyday over raw-Hepatitis- fish every day or even worse, poisonous fish for the thrill of eating a dangerous food and surviving it.
