2007 S-class already sold out?

Word on the street is that waiting lists are growing at dealers around the country for the 2007 S-class.

Sources tell the Spies that even smaller dealers have as many as 75-100 pre-orders for the next car!

We're predicting a lot of pent up demand for this car will translate into a big hit for Mercedes-Benz.

With all the early problems with the last two generations of S-class I'm surprised that many dare take a chance on another new model with even more technology. It's amazing how well heritage and tradition figure into the current success of M-B, there cars are, and have been for some time, near the bottom in reliability by all accounts, yet people keep buying.
If in fact there are that many pre-orders for the S, M-B will be thrilled to have so large an unpaid development staff (it's better than that, their development team pays M-B to be a member!).
