Homer, actually the A6 (and even the Mercedes E-Class) has had that as an option. On the A6 you press a button as you get out of the car and there is a solar panel on the moonroof. It'll use it to charge the system while at the same time using the blowers the vent the hot air out of the inside.

Since it uses the solar panel you don't have to worry about killing your battery and it keeps it nice and cool.

Looks like a handsome car. I liked the outgoing A4's rear end but I like the front end of this new one. Still expect it to be a solid piece of engineering with top notch finishing.

Not as much power as I hoped but for those who it is catering to it's more than enough. On the plus side it leaves all the grunt work for the S/RS models.

Bottom line its a quality product!

the A4 2.0t or the 3.0 kompresser will be fine
