Go get your eyes checked.

lol @damiko, that was a good one. looks like dumbo the elephant. I bet if you flip them up you could achieve lift, or for that matter, point them down for more downforce lol.

This Lexus needs more than a face lift. It needs a wreckin' ball and they need to drop the name.

You really have to be some sort of angry midget to call the IS ugly as its one of the best looking sedans out. I hope they don't mess the design up much.

The IS-F is another story!

Not a face lift, already got uncovered months ago, it is a race car w/ sponsor stickers

Doubt a lot will change on the IS for a couple years, they are working on a convert. and a coupe version now

And I enjoy the bmw fanboi comments on here, just a heads up, tell BMW to come up with a better interior layout, the one they have been using for years is getting sorry and tired

You need help. One thing is for sure. You are an American. Only an American can be so car dumb while at the same time act as if they know something about cars. LOL!!

Sorry, but Lexus can never beat any German car brands.

Am I being mean? No, I am merely telling you the truth.

Fun factor? you are wrong, I give the IS credit, it does perform compared to the other lexus models, but comes nowhere near the 3 series, unles you opt for the ISF. smoothness? the BMW inline 6 is one of the smoothest engines in the world. even at redline its smoother than anything else I have experienced, and never harsh or raspy.

Lexus wants to be a German brand, or they would have never tried this segment in the first place. Also btw Michael... people in Japan will buy the BMW 3 series 8-1 when comparing the Lexus IS to the 3 Series. Even the Japanese will not buy it.

Lexus really doesn't really sell in Japan like you said.

And the reason is that the Japanese people also do know that Lexus is just a Mercedes wannabe.

I rather like the current IS. I like the 350 especially in that navy blue color. I wouldn't do a 250 awd though. It seems like it'd be really have and slow. On top of that I don't think I need awd (even here in Chicago) for our winters. A good set of snow tires seems to do the job on my other car.
The IS just needs to be one size bigger. It just seems small. But otherwise a great little car.

Face Lift? It needs it. The current car already looks dated.

That's the best and nicest way to put it. As much as I loathe this company, I will admit that their cars arent ugly (well, all except the sc and is-f), they just don't age well. They're fresh for MAYBE a year, then they start looking stale and dated.

Their not known for exciting looks so a face lift is necessary. I'm going to get rid of my LS once they refresh that. I may look at a GS for the next generation because it's my favorite Lexus.

A salesman told me the mirror size had something to do with New European Regulations on Rear View Mirror Sizes.

I swear Europe is becoming a Totalitarian Society, Everything has to be approved by the State.
