A Sneak Peek At Mercedes Benz's European SLR Code Name Z199

Good Morning 001,

Attached are sneak preview photos of a future model of the SLR, named the Z199.

There are no plans to offer this vehicle in the U.S. market, but we thought it best to share them with you.

PHOTOCHOP!!! That's no future SLR. It's some RICE boy racer's tack-on-kit they buy from McLaren to put on their Viper.

Well, actually M-Benz is own by Chrysler-Daimler, so it's possible that the SLR will use the low tech Dodge's left over parts bin to build their next supercar as a joint venture again.

Have they designed this for a Disney theme park? What a nice bumper car.

Seriously, Mercedes should GIVE UP trying to break-even on the SLR, it is/was a supercar that was doomed from the start with a completely dated styling.

This attempt to sell some open-top units to a few hundred millionaires is pathetic. It looks like crap.
