Top Story-AUTO SPIES WORLD EXCLUSIVE: 300c killers on the way from Ford and GM?

SPECIAL MEMORIAL DAY TRIBUTE TO OUR TROOPS ISSUE! We all know the new 300c has been an embarrassment and a real slap in the face to the executives, marketers and designers at Ford and GM.

A real SOBERING slap in the face and a definite wakeup call.

Why does it always take an atomic bomb to wake these scared jackrabbits up?

Didn't common sense tell these geniuses that hanging a sign that said '31 flavors, all vanilla' was a recipe for disaster?

And their canned comeback line is...

The 300c will be dated before the 500 and LaCrosse.

But who cares?

Has even ONE person on earth, actually gone to a Ford dealer to SPECIFICALLY to check out the 500 or to a GM dealer see a Lacrosse?

The ONLY drop of excitement on either of these things was the controversy of the name LaCrosse in Quebec (do a little research on Google if you don't know what we mean here).

But there have been plenty of people going into Chrysler dealers to look at the 300c who end up buying a Pacifica or something else.

We've been saying to ALL these American companies, take a stinking chance with 10% of your lineup and hopefully something will stick!

Then, build on the momentum!

Well, it looks like they finally have started listening to us.

The rumors are flying this week, that we will see a few concepts from GM and Ford at the 2006 Detroit auto show, that are destined to become production 300c killers.

Think it's impossible for them to pull off and dethrone the 300c?

We don't.

If you remember a couple of years ago, Lincoln showed a modern version of the Kennedy 'Suicide door' Lincoln.

It was our favorite concept at the show.

I guarantee you that if that car hit the streets the same day the 300c did, the 300c wouldn't have even been remembered and all the glitterati would have been LUSTING for that bad boy!

Ford and GM, it’s not too late!

WE can’t wait for January!

***Special thanks to all the men and women serving our country proudly, all over the world!!!!!We are extremely thankful for GOD's blessings on our country and our freedom, because of all the courageous people like you!You are appreciated!!!!

Ford and GM are too wrapped up in their own importance to produce cars that are different AND people want!! GM tried with the Pontiac Fiero, but when they eventually got it right, they killed it! They even went as far as issuing parts cataloges to dealers for the 3.1V6 but it never made it into production. As for Ford, they don't stand a cat in hells chance of producing a decent car!!! Even the "new" Mustang is seriously flawed!

I went to my local Buick dealer recently and took a look at a Buick LaCross (Allure for those in Canada). I didn't pick the most expensive model that they use in their advertising but rather the lower end of the range that most people could afford. I sat in it and looked around and thought this is really cheap and ugly looking inside. The fit and finish was much better but the design of the old Century looked more appealling to my eyes. GM will have to do a lot better than that to win my business back.
