Mitsubishi Concept-cX gets green-light for production
Mitsubishi has confirmed that the Concept-cX will go into production as a compact 4×4. A senior Mitsubishi source said that “the Concept-cX will become a new sub-Outlander model.” The production model is expected to debut in late 2009. Insiders say the production version will closely resemble the Concept-cX meaning it will have a split tailgate and the Lancer-style front end.

Kinda looks like they blended a Lancer, Scion Xb, and Mini Cooper all together. I didn't even know Mitsu still made cars for the US.

Mitsubishi competitor to the forthcoming BMW X1 and Audi Q3. Nice. I guess with EVO engine it will be even better especially off road/rallying due to high ground clearence.

I hope they don`t put to this new car this vw 2.0 tdi pd diesel engine which they are now putting in mitsubishi outlander here in europe .
