254mph 9ff GT9 to see limited-edition production
The 9ff Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH has decided to produce a limited edition of the GT9 at its location in Dortmund. Based on the Porsche 911 GT3 the GT9 gets a modified version of the 3.6L 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine that produces 973-hp and 711 lb-ft of torque.

0-62mph for the 9ff GT29 comes in at 3.4 seconds while 0-124mph takes 8.2 seconds. Now 9ff claims that the GT29 hits a top speed of 254mph making it the fastest road-going car. What's with the wheel covers on the back wheels? Im thinking it has something to do with unsprung weight at the corners and assist with aerodynamic forces.. just curious.
