What 001 is driving these days

I got hooked by my own advertising!

When the guys at Glauser Mercedes sent me their lease special on the 06 S-class, I emailed them back to see if they had made an error.

Wow that's a cheap deal - incredible unless you live in a state where you have to pay sales tax on the entire implied sales prices, and not just on the monthly payments. Texas is one such example where leasing is especially expensive.

However there are rumors of S430's selling for $12-15,000 off list for 2005 models. So buying one may also make sense.

I thought the S430 was phased out in 2005, and replaced by the S350 in the US for 2006 - guess I was wrong - you're saying a 2006 S430.

If there is one unique automobile out there it is this critter. A8 w/aluminum body and other structures to lighten up its weight..Definetely an awesome engineering! Kudos! Alumunium body as I know it is very complex in building..just look at Acura NSX..Honda axed this aluminum car saying they have actually lost close to $800 mil. over the NSX's life due to the cost of Aluminum build complexity! Kudos to Audi A8!

i dont know why, but everytime i see those tailights on the S, i have to stare on the road. gorgeous, and 001 has it right, the 7 is the kind of girl you're ashamed to introduce to your friends. even if it drives better, so what? you have to drive in style.

speaking of which, i saw a yellow Ferarri F430 on the Northern State today, and drove with it, speeding ahead to take a look at the front and slowing down to see the sexy rear for about a mile, if there was EVER a case for driving in a sexy styled car, that is the one!
