Nope... sorry. The facts prove that the world is warmer than it was when we began keeping track of it. That is global warming, nothing controversial about that.

What we don't know for certain is that humans are the *main* cause. All our CO2 emissions must have some effect if they remain in the atmosphere, but how much is not precisely known. The ocean also tends to absorb some of it.

Please...global warming hasn't just resulted in the warming of icy areas...it's created noreasters that have wreaked havoc on other areas. Where one polar cap dies, another will be reborn.

So what this tells me is that they still have no clue to why the earth is warming.. I really think its just what the earth is doing. And how long have we been burning stuff for fuel? a few thousand years. And what about all the forest fires. What effect do they have. Its not just one thing its many. And really we can do all we want to improve the air but what about the other countries. What about the 3rd world countrys that have no set standards. They undermind any good we do.

Terrible analogy for global warming, good analogy for green house effect. No facts that there is a "blanket" keeping in the heat. A more plausable explanation is the increased solar activity that can directly produce more heat. In any case, fluctuations in average temperature have occurred for decades. Measuring equipment and techniques are different than even 50 years ago. A lot of posturing, finger pointing, and speculation going on. And now political policies are being developed for it. I believe in being responsible and "clean", but the proposed measures don't support the facts.

Keep in mind that this study was only on certain locations in Europe. It may not be the case that the air is cleaner, on average, over the entire globe.
