A Behind the Scenes Look at the New GLK Design and Development
No other model in the world of compact SUVs, past or present, comes close to matching the GLK's distinctively expressive appearance. The body is beautifully proportioned (length 4528 mm, width 1840 mm, height 1689 mm), while there is a special allure in the interplay between the classic angular shape and the typical design features found in all contemporary Mercedes-Benz passenger cars.

That is a far cry to what they actually produced. I would have rather had one of their early designs than the block design that is in produciton now.

I couldn't agree with you more. The new Audi Q5 smokes the GLK in the looks department.

Hyperbole, but hilarious at the same time. I guess there was no nice way to say it's awkward-looking, like everything else with a star on it.

OMG Shut your piehole! I am so sick of you saying every Toyota is better than every other car that exists. Let me guess, The Toyota Avalon is a million miles ahead of the Rolls Royce Phantom. Guess that is why Toyota is giving it the ax! I am a true car lover and can appreciate all brands that make an exciting or interestingly designed car. Your ranting on these stupid Toyota cars is ridiculous. I own a rare 1990 Gunmetal Grey Toyota Celica GTS All-Trac. I love it, it is a classic and is great fun to drive, but I would never say it is better than the all wheel drive 911 Carrera 4. I can appreciate the quality of some of the vehicles Toyota has made throughout the years. Most of their cars are so boring they would calm down the most hyper ADHD child in a matter of moments, but for you to say that there is no car better than any of the cars in either Toyota's or Lexus' line up just shows your ignorance and shows you really are not a car lover at all.

I have to agree with you on the RAV4. I'm not biased in one way or another. I just don't personally like the way the GLK looks.

Rav 4 isn't even comparable to a Mercedes you troll. You're getting annoying I think you should just leave this website. Your rants about Toyota this and Toyota that or Lexus this and Lexus that is even worse than the traditional troll we use to have around here.

If Toyota and Lexus is all you talk about you surely know nothing about cars. You're not even a car enthusiast. Heck, you drive a Camry, how exciting could you really be?

The more I see the GLK the more I like it - the angular/creased design of the exterior and interior makes it look sturdy and it def stands out from the rounded/organic look of others.

I dont care what anyone says, I think the GLK looks cool. It looks boxy and tuff! Very reminiscent of W124's. Maybe that's why I like it so much....

Very unique, and much better looking than the X3.
