BMW's X5 hybrid spied in US
Photographers have managed to snap some pictures of BMW’s upcoming X5 hybrid, all within days of spotting prototypes of the X6 hybrid in California’s Death Valley.

The images depict an X5 with an oversized bulge located on the bonnet, likely to be containing test equipment for the new two-mode hybrid system the car will feature.

A similar bump was seen on the previous X6 hybrid prototype but was significantly smaller, signifying that it could be closer to production than its X5 sibling.

This is old news. That same X5 was sitting in the front parking lot at the Bavarian BMW dealership here in Rochester Hills, Michigan for all to see back in May.

That's cool that bmw has a hybrid! I wonder how much it is going to cost though? You could always convert your car into a hybrid I suppose. I found some information on hybrid kits at http://www.convert2hybrid.com . Looks like it is slowly taking a green turn in the world.
