Wow, someone just found this out. Now if people actually realize that SUV owners aren't gas guzzling jerks. We buy them for practibility and luxury.

Even better try with you VWAudiWAgon, or MINI3er, come on dude, your hate for Toyota/Lexus is so obvious. I got nothing against the German brand, except their usual snob owner, know what I mean?

Actually I believe that a Hydraulic Diesel would do wonders for them. It would separate them from everything else in its category. Also it would make them slightly more viable in the eyes of some of the idiot tree huggers. A gas electric hybrid wont do anything for these vehicles. A diesel electric hybrid would do ok however IMO I believe that the Hydraulic Diesel would be m.

So the lady down the street from me who has a pimped out H2 with no kids?

I'm sure not ALL of them are jerks. But does a Yukon or Explorer really need to be doing 85mph on the parkway with the twisties. Probably not. Nothing aggravates me more than people who cannot maintain speed. If your car cannot do 80 around a bend, then you shouldn'tbe doing 80, then hit the brakes to 60, then back to 80. You tie up the rest of us.

I guess I'm saying that people who drive their SUVs like they are sports cars are ludicrous. I know the Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne, etc. are sporty, but there is only so much a top heavy car can handle before it flops or blows a tire from strain.

So, I cannot volunteer my efforts through Hope to red cross with a vehicle since it isn't a Hummer®? Bummer, I guess I'll have to do this independantly w/ my Scoob or a borrowed pick 'em up.

My experience with devastated areas, an ATV or tractor is the vehicle of choice. ...and yes, I was helping out at the EF5 tornado site the next day in P-burg Iowa, where this sort of equipment was necessary.

Unfortunately, an exclusive club is not going to save this brand.

It's true that not all Hummer owners are gas-guzzling jerks; some of them are diesel-guzzling jerks (H1)
