British Motor Show: IFR Aspid - 0-62MPH in 2.8 Seconds Posted by admin

IFR Automotive has revealed their new Aspid sportscar at the British Motor Show. The lightweight Aspid weighs in at only 700kg and it is powered by a 2.0-litre supercharged engine, which develops 400hp. The Aspid has an outrageous power-to-weight ratio and it allows the two-seater to accelerate from 0-62mph in 2.8seconds and 0-100mph in just 5.9seconds.

Cool interior. Though for exterior looks I'll still go with the classic Caterham 7...or the crazy looking Axion.

I wonder if this car is faster round a track than the new Cat Superlight R500? It has about 140hp on the R500 but it also weighs 200kg more. That would be a nice comparison...

He Clarkson...hand those cars to the Stig to see whats what.
