Nice armor. I can't figure out what the rear will look like (Note the rear antenna is actually down in the armor so the lines could be anything at this point).
Also anyone else notice that the eninge its running is not requiring top of the line fuel? Wonder what that means?

Judging from the look and from my expertise in BMW design and experience, I'll say this is most likely going to be a new model.
It's either a new entry-level Z2 to compete with the Miata MX5 or a replacement for the legendary Z8. The reason behind my logical assumption is because gas is high and the Miata is taking away all the sales, it makes sense for BMW to launch a Z2 to offset the poor sale of the Z4. Besides, the Z4 hasn't been out on the market that long yet, so it's not due for a replacement for maybe a few more years.

I'm not the biggest BMW fan there is, but I have really been pleased with every Z model they've put out. Z3, Z4 (especially fixed roof versions) and of course my fav the Z8.
This new Z looks damn nice so far.

The Z4 cannot be custom ordered in Germany since May 2008, ie the new version will be on sale in the fall 08.
