New spy photos showcasing the Mercedes SLK equipped with a panoramic glass roof have emerged today, courtesy of the fine gentlemen of Auto Motor und Sport. In the photos, the darkened glass roof is clearly visible, as is a significant bulge over the rear wheel of the model that's hidden by light camouflage.

In an accident severe enough, I'm sure the metal roof is just as unsafe as the glass. You still get the metal frame.
