Mercedes-Benz SL65 Black Series - New Pictures Released
Mercedes-Benz has released some new photos of their new SL65 Black Series, this time showcasing it alongside a Boeing 747. Honestly I don't think it matters what you photograph this car alongside, it is still going to take center stage.
And speaking of center stage,
if you haven't yet checked out the fine, fine ladies appearing in the Mercedes Fashion Show Gallery
, you are missing out on all the great things AutoSpies.com has to offer.

Honestly, I would choose this over the SLR McLaren.

I also love how the rear fenders are wider than the front ones. I don't know why lately they've been making wider fenders up front (E92 M3, C63, CLK63 BS, etc). There should be a rule, "front fenders cannot be wider than rear fenders" lol

The first picutre of the SL in the cargo plane has replaced the Alfa Romeo maxi ocean racer as my desktop background on my work computer.

Also for some reason that big front air dam makes the headlights look even more agreesive. Looks nice.

I see what you're saying- most of the Black Series cars we've seen have not been black. My guess is they are trying to celebrate their Silver Arrow performance heritage

Yes, here's one: "The desingers from the "F" division are going to make a body kit AT LEAST twice as wild to completely blow this Mercedes into the weeds!" How does this sound?

$320,000. it better perform to expectations to command that price tag.

I honestly dont think it needs to. Looks alone will probably sell it. Then when the owner digs into some of the throttle, he'll reassure himself of a successful purchase.
Looks will bring them in, power will keep them in. Everything else will be moot.

As soon as you push the Start button in a Black Series you reassure yourself of a successful purchase. And then theres the drive...
