Ferrari California in California

Ferrari California in California
I was in Califonia last week around Half Moon Bay. To my suprise, they were filming a commercial or other PR film for the Ferrari California. They would close Hwy 1 downa and let the cars run.

Notice the Blue one had the camera guy. Spoke to the guys for a few minutes and did not mind me taking pictures at all.

Enjoy.

Stacked exhausts were around before the Lexus IS-F had them

Not true, the IS-F was the first production car with the stacked exhausts, so yes this is a copy cat.

I'm still partial to the F430, but this is a close 2nd.

same company, what does it matter? are you the same person that calls a bugatti and a lambo a VW?

I don't know why they would name a model after "California". Unless there's some history behind that name I don't know about they have chosen the wrong name for the Italian bred supercar.

I'm sure it will still carry that legendary Ferrari howl but the interiors on Ferrari's aren't the best looking but functionality wise their great. Unlike Ferrari's, Lamborghini's interiors look high tech despite their less nimble cars but their still world class obviously.

I'll be the judge when I see these running around. I'm sure there will be more of these than the F430 because of it's price. A reason for the people SL and M6 buyers to own a Ferrari. I personally would get either the F430 and up or don't bother.

That's what I call fussy styling :(

Why don't people save tons of money and get the new Genesis Coupe? you'll get that same swoosh down the side door panel. Put some Ferrari stickers on it if you want.

Generic and cliched, one of the worst designed Ferraris of all times. If this were any other car brand people would be screaming Hyundai. How this designed was okayed by Ferrari amazes me.

Pininfarina downward spiral continues.

The butt of the car is terrible, just terrible. If this car had a Japanese badge on it people would be saying how ugly and overdone the design is.

Is this like the economy version of Ferrari... save my judgement until I see it in person. Cheers.

personally i'd rather have an aston martin V8 vantage, DB7, or an Audi R8. All three are absolutely breathtaking when seen on the streets and i'm sure just as fun to drive considering most of the people that would buy any of these cars are just going to be using them to get from point A to point B.

Ferrari could have done better

Just because that Lexus IS-F POS came out before this car doesn't mean Ferrari spied in Toyota for the exhaust.

In fact it was the other way around.

Lexus, let's get original for once!
