I know people here dont like Saudi's but for geography challenged people...Qatar is a completely separate country but I guess they forgot to teach you that in your trailer park school.

Qatar is on the same peninsula...I don't mind people have exorbant wealth, but I think if you are given a lot, a lot is expected of you and I don't know if this sort of spending is healthy or good. Not spoken as a person upset with high gas prices, but as a human being who sees millions of people dying for food in this world of ours.

Bill can service his gas guzzlers next door. the rest of the world is not as fortunate. More power to that Sheikh. He could have flown in the mechanics but you will have to blame the authorised dealers for making it so that u can't mobilise a diagnostics crew.

and because it was a due service, having it done by someone else would have probably lost him his warranty... or something like that.

Not necessarily haters. It's just ridiculous to go through such extreme measures for an oil change. I know he wouldn't take his Lambo to Jiffy Lube for an oil change, but flying a car across the world? Don't you think that's just the least bit excessive? Not to mention the emissions produced, with a great deal of disregard for the environment?

I'm sure that plane would have been flying those flights with or without his Lambo on it.

I do not know why people on this site try to act so pious all the time. You all make money and buy new luxury vehicles, which are justified because of your income...well most of the time. If someone on this site can make 100k per year and drive a 5 series worth 50k, why can't someone who has hundreds of millions of dollars, growing daily, not ship his car out to get it serviced the way it was supposed to be serviced? If the guy wants his Lambo serviced by a Lambo mechanic, is it his fault there are no Lambo mechanics in Qatar? Would he have shipped it to London if the same service and quality was available in his home country? You guys jump to conclusions without looking at the facts. And please stop hating on Middle Eastern people cause they have money. We should all try to increase our own income to achieve our dreams, without dogging on others for having what we don't have. If I had 100 million dollars and drove a Lambo and lived in Qatar for whatever reason, you bet I would send it to London to get it serviced the proper way. The Middle East is alot more than oil now. Dubai is the port of the world, they make money on tourism. Look at Dubai's GDP and only 4% of it comes from oil. People need to start looking at the changing world, and drop the assumptions.

Last time I checked America was the number one market for almost every exotic car in the world. We are the fattest country in the world, and we have more SUV's than anyone in the world. If we can live like kings, I think other people should be able to also. So many Americans have 2-3 vacation homes all over the world, that they use maybe 2 weeks out of the whole year. Is that not too much? I don't think it is. I say awesome. I wish I could have 2-3 vacation homes all over the world. I don't hate on people who do.
