Another shot of the next S-class interior

Here's one of the many pics flying around cyberspace of the next S-class...


As we predicted to you over TWO YEARS AGO, it has an iDrive-like controller with a cushioned wrist pad (phone keypad hides under it...you flip it open like the James Bond Aston).

Also, notice how Audi-ish and 7-ish the interior is.

It's like they took the best of both cars (7 and A8) and made something even nicer.

Wait till you see how beautiful all the two-textured aluminum switchgear looks inside!

This is going to be one AWESOME car!

That was the sound of my jaw hitting the floor.

Here I thought it would be years before anyone surpassed the mind-numbing ugliness of the Infiniti M series dashboard. And here MB does it in less than a year! Way to go, Stuttgart!

Myself, I don't see a whole lot of inspiration from any other luxury makes in the new S-Class dashboard. It seems that MB has come up with its own original take on hideous and grotesque.
