Volvo kills plans for more C30 variants

Part of those plans include paring down model lines to core essentials as falling demand makes micro-niche vehicles less and less profitable.

Thank god. Please change the rear end of that car. The front looks good.

The only thing wrong with this car is its price. It shouldn't cost over 27grand fully loaded. Premium small cars may catch on here but Volvo ain't there yet. Also a diesel and hybrid would do them well.

It should have been a 4 door like the A3.
I'm not saying that the A3 has really good sales in the States, but it is doing better than the C30.
People here have a hard time associating a luxury hatch with 3 doors. Adding 2 more doors it works....

A 5 door C30 is already the V50 right? The rear of the C30 looks different in a nice way. the front looks "common" compared to the funky rear end.
